How does dot voting work?

Yes. The room manager can promote another online participant to room manager from the participants list. If the room manager goes offline, others can claim the role.

Can we export retrospective results?

Yes. Export the board as CSV, Markdown, print-friendly PDF, or a PNG snapshot including cards, comments, and reactions.

Which languages does RetroEP support?

How long does a retrospective room stay open?

When creating a room you choose a duration (30, 45, 60 minutes or custom). A live hours:minutes:seconds countdown is visible in the room header for the entire session; it turns amber in the last fifteen minutes and pulses red in the final minute.

Can I password-protect a retrospective room?

Room managers can set an optional room password so only teammates with the password can join.

How does the open board work?

RetroEP uses a single open board — no phase ladder. The team adds cards, groups similar notes, dot-votes, discusses, and captures action items all in one view. The room manager can reveal or hide author names at any time and archives the room when the session ends.

What is the anonymous sprint survey?

At the end of a retro the room manager can start an anonymous survey where everyone rates the session with 1–5 stars and leaves an optional comment — no names attached. Each device votes once and can edit until the room closes; the room manager reveals the aggregate results to everyone, and they also appear in the CSV/Markdown/PDF export.

Can the room manager remove a participant?

Yes. The room manager can remove a participant from the participants list after a confirmation. Removed participants are blocked from rejoining that room and from opening its archive.

What are room celebration animations?

Any participant can trigger one of seven full-screen animations (confetti, hearts, smileys, tears, stars, party, applause) that every teammate sees in sync — a light gamification feature for team morale.

Does RetroEP show a timer during the retrospective?

Yes. Every room displays a live HH:MM:SS countdown in the header from the moment you join until the room closes. The timer helps room managers timebox the retro and turns red in the last minute.
